Summer signing tipped to be an Arsenal‘flop’fans are told!

Pundit Jamie O’Hara is adamant Kai Havertz will ‘flop’ at ARSENAL following his £65m move from Chelsea.

Havertz spent three years at Stamford Bridge, scoring 32 goals in 139 appearances, including the winner in the 2021 Champions League final against Manchester City.

However – Havertz attracted criticism during his spell at Chelsea as he largely underwhelmed following a £71m move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020, and was constantly ripped for his lack of effort and quality in front of goal.

O’Hara says Havertz ‘wasn’t good enough’ for Chelsea and expects the 24-year-old to ‘flop’ at Arsenal: ‘What Kai Havertz? He can’t even hit a barn door,’ O’Hara said on talkSPORT.

‘He wasn’t good enough for Chelsea so they got rid of him.

‘I am telling you now that Kai Havertz will be a flop at Arsenal. I don’t think it’s going to work out and I don’t think it’s going to fit into their mould.’

To be honest with you guys – nobody in the media can understand why Arsenal made the move to sign Havertz – with all the attacking quality that Mikel Arteta already has in front of goal – where does he fit in?

He has come for a massive amount – is one of the highest paid players in the Premier League now and will have the pressure of fighting for his place rather than walking straight into the side.

Nobody can predict how good he will be – but if Arsenal are signing the player that scored goals for fun and not the one that managed just seven last year – then he will be a very good buy.

But it will be an interesting one to watch as many are still shocked he is at the club
